St. Georges Day Parade


With others from the District, Aldro Cubs and Scouts paraded down Godalming High street to celebrate St. Georges Day.

They say ‘Never work with children or animals’, but this occasion broke that rule. Several Aldro boys joined others with brightly coloured towels to create a giant dragon for St. George [The District Commissioner] to slay!

After a service at St Peter and Paul Church we paraded back without a drop of rain.
