NATIONAL PREP SCHOOLS RAPIDPLAY DEC.17TH 2011

We hosted the Championships again this year and there was an excellent turn out with 125 children from 20 schools, playing in 5 different age groups. Everyone enjoyed the tournament and there were some high quality games.

U9 section Justin Lu 4\5 (3^rd =), Amir Baradar, Edward Brooks, Jack Finnis, Aaryan Kapoor, Henry Dorman and Jack Osborn 3\5 (13^th=),Jonathan Barley, Will Drayton, Hector Money, William Riddy, Henry Rix, Nicholas Stanic, Felix Wood 2\5, Edward Brew 1.5\5

We came 4^th out of 20 schools in the team competition, but it was great to see so many Aldro players competing with some of the best players in the south of England and gaining some good experience for the tournaments coming up later in the year.

Many thanks to Mr Tuddenham and Pat Armstrong for their expert help and to all the Aldro parents who helped in various ways on the day .The refreshments were very successful raising £168.65 for Change of Scene.
