Impartial & Bespoke
At Aldro we provide impartial and bespoke senior school advice to parents, so they feel confident that their child is heading on to the ‘right’ school. As each child and every school is different, it is hardly surprising that our children have left us to attend 33 different senior schools in the last three years.
This discussion begins with parents in year 5, ensuring that the decision is well-considered and the child is given the best possible preparation. Children therefore head on to a senior school with confidence, where they will thrive and be happy.
At the time of writing (May 2026), 49% of our Form 8s have achieved a scholarship to their senior school.
We are fortunate to have built up excellent relationships over a number of years with the top senior schools in the South of England. We regularly send our pupils to a wide range of schools depending on their particular strengths and interests. In recent years, our pupils have gone on to schools including Bradfield, Canford, Charterhouse, Cranleigh, Dean Close, Downe House, Harrow, Lancing, Marlborough, Oundle, Radley, RGS Guildford, Sherborne, Tonbridge, St John’s Leatherhead, Seaford College, St Swithin's, Wellington and Winchester.
In the last 3 years, children have left us to attend 33 different senior schools.
Record breaking!
At the time of writing (April 2026), 41% of our Form 8s have achieved a scholarship to their senior school. Senior school scholarships have been offered to Radley, Bradfield, Tonbridge, Charterhouse, Harrow, Lancing, Cranleigh, KESW and Seaford College. Scholarships have been awarded across a broad range of disciplines; academic, sport, drama, music, design & engineering, art, all-rounder and a HM Award. It has been a particularly spectacular year for Miss Allen and her Drama scholars - they are the largest group of drama scholars in Aldro history!
2025 Results
Our 2025 cohort, achieved scholarships across a number of different disciplines; Academic, Art, Drama, Design Engineering, Music and Sport. Our pupils went on to a wide range of senior schools including Charterhouse, Cranleigh School, Dean Close, Harrow, KESW, King's School, Worcester, Lancing College, Marlborough College, Oundle School, Radley College, RGS Guildford, Seaford College, Sherborne Boys, Tonbridge School, Wellington College and Winchester College.
