Open Mornings

While the physical doors to Aldro are currently closed, we reopen for the Summer Term on 23rd April with an extension to our Distance Learning Programme including a comprehensive programme of real-time lessons online, co-curricular activities and competitions, the Aldro Mentoring Programme, Assemblies and more.

We look forward to reopening the front doors to the school soon, meanwhile current parents continue to receive updates via email and our social media channels. If you are enquiring about a place for September, please contact Mrs Sadler to find out more.

Open Mornings take place every term and are a popular and good way to visit the school with the whole family enabling prospective parents and pupils to see for themselves what makes Aldro so special. Our Open Mornings offer an opportunity to meet the Headmaster, Mr Chris Carlier, and hear his vision for the school as well as to take a tour of the School with some of our boys.

The next Open Morning is on:

17th June 2020 10.00am - 11.30am

To register your interest please call our Admissions Office 01483-813535 or send a brief email to admissions@aldro.org

On Open Mornings, all visitors are met by the Headmaster and his wife and will be shown around the school by our boys. Visitors have an opportunity to meet teachers in their classrooms, see the pupils at work and view key areas around the school. Open Mornings on a Saturday tend to showcase more the variety of activities on offer at Aldro, whilst mid-week Open Mornings tend to give more of a flavour of a typical working day.

Following a tour of the school, visitors are welcomed by the Headmaster, staff and current parents who will be pleased to answer any questions you may have over a cup of coffee and refreshments. There is also the opportunity to speak to our Admissions Manager, Mrs Janie Sadler, about registering your child for Aldro.

Where parents cannot make an advertised Open Morning, please contact our Admissions Office to request a visit to meet the Headmaster midweek.
