Aldro Development Office

The Aldro Development Office exists to help build the Aldro community.  The Development Office serves the Aldro Community by organising events and opportunities for alumni to connect, as well as raising financial support for capital projects and life-changing bursaries.

The development office is led by the Director of Development, Mr Nick Margesson, who has been associated with the school for many years in a variety of roles and will be known to many previous pupils, parents and staff. 

This year has seen the introduction of the 1989 Fund and the OA 100. Read more about both fundraising initiatives below.

Our 1898 Fund

This year we launched a new fund to raise significant bursary provision. This fund will enable more young people to benefit from an enriching Aldro education. If you are interested in finding out more about the fund and how you can contribute, please click below.

Aldro's 1898 Fund

OA 100

 

In the summer of 2026, we will be celebrating 100 years of the Old Aldronian Association. To mark this historic occasion, we are launching the ‘OA 100' campaign. Our aim is to encourage 100 Old Aldronians to support the 1898 Bursary Fund through regular giving.

In line with our regular giving 1898 Club, if 100 OAs joined the ‘Green Team’ in giving £18.98 per month, tax efficiently, this would fund a pupil on a full bursary throughout their time at Aldro.
